Carmen started her 365gratefulproject whereby she takes a photo of something she’s grateful for everyday as a way of capturing precious moments in her everyday life. Along the way, she discovered the power of gratitude and realised the Buddha’s teachings of mindfulness and impermanence.

About Carmen: Carmen was a Ministry of Education scholar. From 2009 to 2010, she served as the President of the National University of Singapore Buddhist Society (NUSBS). She is currently a teacher at a secondary school.

About Young Adults Group (YAG) Sharing Sessions: YAG Sharing Sessions is a series of weekly Buddhist sharing sessions organized by the Singapore Buddhist Mission. The Sessions are catered to young adult participants aged 19 to 35 years old. Speakers include Venerables and lay Buddhist practitioners.
